Ireland needs to get sizeable chunk of €5bn EU Brexit fund – MacManus

Sinn Fein MEP Chris MacManus is calling on the government to ensure it secures a sizeable chunk of the EU Brexit adjustment fund.

The Midlands North-West MEP says Irish fishing industries will be hugely impacted by the EU-UK Trade deal.

He's arguing they need to be properly compensated from the five billion euro (5bn) fund that’s been set up to compensate sectors worst affected by the UK’s departure from the EU.
