Father, We praise You for being the Source of all things. We echo the words of David, “Both riches and honor come from You… and in Your hand it is to make great and to give strength… All things come from You, and of Your own have we given You.” Forgive us for being prideful and puffing ourselves up, forgetting that You are the Source, and instead elevating ourselves and “our” provision. And forgive us for the time we’ve withheld generosity out of fear and greed. We’ve been arrogant and selfish, and we repent. Ha...

Father,

We praise You for being the Source of all things. We echo the words of David, “Both riches and honor come from You… and in Your hand it is to make great and to give strength… All things come from You, and of Your own have we given You.”

Forgive us for being prideful and puffing ourselves up, forgetting that You are the Source, and instead elevating ourselves and “our” provision. And forgive us for the time we’ve withheld generosity out of fear and greed. We’ve been arrogant and selfish, and we repent. Have mercy on me, a sinner. Make our hearts clean like only You can.

Give us grateful hearts that acknowledge that every gift comes from You. Like David told Solomon, may we know You and serve You with a whole heart and a willing mind. Soften our hearts and minds to respond to You.

We surrender our lives to You, Lord and our hearts and our minds—every moment of our day, each decision we make, we yield our will and way to Your perfect will and way.

We love You too. Amen.
