In this podcast, Clinical Negligence Solicitor Amy Bills talks with our special guest Kirsty Smallman. Kirsty talks about her Dad's journey from medical emergencies, infections and surgery, to being diagnosed with cancer and facing a battle with sepsis. Kirsty shares the frustrations she and her family faced once at the hospital with the lack of medical support in recognising the evidence that her Dad had sepsis. In hospitals there are posters alerting people to sepsis everywhere. Kirsty stresses the need for medical professionals to listen to the families and those affected in order to learn.
