AM Report 23 Apr 18: Markets fell again on Friday - this week all about trade and inflation

US sharemarkets fell again on Friday but rose over the week. Investors mulled the implications of higher bond yields. Consumer staples fell the most, down 1.7%. Technology stocks fell on worries about demand for phones. Shares in Apple fell by 4.1%. The Dow Jones index fell by 202 points or 0.8% after being down 290 points late in the session. The S&P 500 index fell by 0.9%, while the Nasdaq fell by 92 points or 1.3%. Over the week the Dow rose by 0.4%, the S&P 500 index rose by 0.5% and the Nasdaq rose by 0.6%
