#80 - Season 4 Kickoff in the Book of Exodus (Ex. 1-2)

The beginning of season 4! In today’s episode we introduce the book of Exodus and discuss the first two chapters of the book:

• threads between Genesis and Exodus: it’s one story
• the fruitful multiplication of God’s people in Egypt
• Pharaoh who fears man and the midwives who fear God
• the saving of Moses’ life
• how Moses and Noah were both on an ark
• Moses growing up
• how Moses killing the Egyptian was not a sin
• Moses, Elijah, and Jesus all in the wilderness
• Moses’ life foreshadowing Israel’s story later in Exodus
• God’s covenant faithfulness
