Today, we’re going to look back at a story that is deeply embedded within the Christmas narrative, but it’s part of the story that typically doesn’t get as much coverage as the rest of it. This is the story of John the Baptist’s parents, and we’re going to see that, although they had to deal with disappointment for a long time, they nevertheless decided to follow God, and their lives were transformed. If you’ve ever dealt with disappointment, we think you’ll be encouraged by their story.
