Should you date/be in a relationship with a soulmate?

How would you describe a soulmate? Is it the one and only to find and to live happily ever after? Do you even have to be in a romantic relationship with a soulmate? Can a person has multiple soulmates to come in and out of his or her life over the years? Or maybe you cannot find a single one... Sometimes we spend a lifetime looking for a soulmate... would it be easier to find your soul-self first? We don't know the answer, we are just talking it over in our 'Big Ole bed'.
