I was the quintessential good girl. I lived my checklist life dutifully doing what a good girl does. I selflessly took care of people’s need and did what was asked of me…all in hopes to be seen as an accepted and valuable member of the group.

Then one day, a year after the birth of my 1st child, I lost it. I could no longer handle the feeling that I was failing at being myself, failing at being the good girl I was supposed to be. I could no longer manage my anxiety (which I’d been ignoring my entire life) and I exploded. My boss at the time, who did not deserve it, found himself on the other end of my rage and fortunately for me, instead of firing me, he gave me the space I needed to immediately get help.

Then finally after years of unpacking, uncovering and discovering who I really was I stepped into and took responsibility for my life… and then everything in my life changed!
