Community and Reintegration (Wholeness) in the Brothers Grimm’s “The Juniper Tree” (Clip)

Due to the stepmother’s selfishness, something was taken from the family, and he is reincarnated and goes about the community collecting things.  Revenge and atonement both are linked to being made whole again.  Interesting that the implement of her murder is the communal millstone.
