Today, she shares her personal journey of creating her identity through various adversity that she has faced. One of Bethany’s key advocacy accomplishments to keep families with incarcerated loved ones connected, resulted in changing policy on the predatory private prison phone industry. She is a sought after thought leader on the topic of Ancestry & Adoption, The Search for Identity & Belonging, Being Mixed in America, Finding Family & Forgiveness, and The Adoption Experience. She is also a contributing author at The Inclusion Solution, and recently penned an essay about her adoption journey and search of belonging and identity.
