Decoding Our Desires

This is the fourth in a series of sermons called Seeking God: Finding Another Kind of Life that following along with themes from a book by the same name (by Trevor Hudson). The series is all about being formed more into the image of Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit, while digging into Scripture, and leaning on the wisdom of St. Ignatius and Dallas Willard. 

In this message, we deal with the topic of our human desires. By and large, the Church does not do well teaching us how to understand our desires as good gifts from God—designed to connect us more deeply with our own souls, with other people, and with our Designer.
