James and the Giant Peach or: How I Learned the Concept of Chosen Family

This week is CORE for one of our hosts, lil onions. We kick off Ross' September Birthday Month with one of the VHS favorites, James and the Giant Peach (1996). Ross weeps almost instantly from the music to the story of James' plight, Carie gets spooked by the metaphorical rhinoceros, and the siblings underline the importance of chosen family, especially in cases of giant anthropomorphic bugs.
