US Close 13 Feb 17: Positive Chinese data helps lift US Markets

US sharemarkets finished at fresh record highs on Friday. Investors continued to be encouraged by the prospect of "phenomenal" tax cuts to be unveiled by US President Trump over the next 2-3 weeks. Economic data was mixed but higher oil prices boosted the energy sector.
