Prospective Tory leaders ‘don’t give a damn’ about Ireland – Carthy

The four remaining British politicians contending the leadership of the Tory party don’t care about Ireland – North or South. So says the Sinn Fein MEP Matt Carthy who was speaking in the European Parliament in Strasbourg where the Brexit fallout has dominated proceedings. Mr Carthy says the lack of discussion about the impact of a Brexit on Northern Ireland highlights the need for people North and South of the border to work towards an acceptable Brexit agreement.
