24: Scott Peckford – Harnessing Willpower to Achieve Success

Scott used to be a paramedic before becoming a mortgage broker. The transition was not without challenges. At the outset of his new career, he was told right up front that he wasn't cut out for this job. However, that didn’t deter him from achieving his objective. “I needed to be told I couldn't do it,” Scott recalls, and he still believes that was the best thing that anyone could’ve done to him. It pushed him to do all in his power to get to where he is now.

 

Today, Scott Peckford is your go-to guy when it comes to expanding your mortgage business. In addition to being a mortgage broker, he's a coach, an author, and a podcaster. Scott is the founder of The I Love Mortgage Brokering Network of podcasts and they offer a series of shows aimed at assisting the mortgage broker community. He with his crew runs one of Canada's fastest-growing mortgage companies now, as well as an academy that equips mortgage brokers and loan officers with a variety of useful tools.
