Isaiah wrote in Isaiah 53 that Jesus bore our sicknesses and carried our pains so that "by His stripes we are healed." The Bible teaches us that healing does belong to us today just as much as it did in the Old Testament all the way through the Book of Acts. We just simply receive this free gift of God's mercy and grace like we do our salvation. Truly, He was bruised and I am healed.
