Real Native Roots: Untold Stories presents Mona Polacca(Butterfly), whose people come from the blue-green waters and the guardians of the Grand Canyon. Mona shares her story as a girl who becomes a young woman, a mother for the first time, and a grandmother. She carries the wisdom that her mother shared and has weaved that into her life's purpose, work, and various roles she has played. Mona also gives us a peek into the history and meaning of the International Council of Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers.
