This week I sat down with Sharon Clawson - LA based model, content creator, and retired beauty pageant contestant.

Throughout today’s episode Sharon shares her experience with beauty pageants as a curvy girl, her history with disordered eating, & how she overcome the negative core beliefs associated with her body. Sharon opened up about how her mom and grandma played a role in how she viewed her body growing up.

We dove into pageantry and the environment it can create for contestants. Sharon shares how her experience with pageants shifted over time & tips for navigating pageants as a contestant but also for parents guiding their kids through a pageant.
