Each of us carries a light—God’s purpose ignited within us. Like a lamp set on a stand, our lives are meant to be visible, radiant, and impactful. Think of Esther: a young woman placed in the palace “for such a time as this” (Esther 4:14). She could’ve remained silent, but she stepped into her purpose with courage, and her obedience saved a nation.
We too are called to shine—right where we are. In our homes, our workplaces, our conversations—God wants our light to lead others to Him. But shining doesn’t mean perfection; it means reflecting the love, truth, and grace of Jesus.
Don’t hide the gifts God has placed in you. Don’t shrink back. You were created with purpose, on purpose, for purpose.
