Shavous, the day we receive the Torah and finish counting the Sefira. We learn that each day of the Omer period are meant to work on one specific emotion. So when Shavous comes we are ready to receive the Torah in the best possible manner.

We find out why the Torah was given on a small mountain, but nevertheless a mountain, and why Shavous is one of the only times that we offer bread as a Korban in the Beis Hamikdash.
