EU Wide ’Reverse 112’ System Proposed - Clune

A European wide emergency text alert system is being considered by MEPs this week.

The ‘reverse 112’ would allow the emergency services target messages to civilians in areas under immediate threat.

The system is in use in Belgium and it is proposed to extend the facility across the EU.
