Member states will have a say in CAP rollout - Walsh

Fine Gael MEP Maria Walsh says more flexibility will given to member states when it comes implementing the new Common Agricultural Policy.

 

The European Parliament is setting out its position on CAP this week and detailed negotiations will follow.

 

The issue has led to deep divisions, with some MEPs saying it does not do enough to tackle climate change.

 

But Maria Walsh says it's a balanced proposal
