Ireland failed to send earthquake help - Andrews

Barry Andrews has criticised the government for failing to send an emergency team to Turkey and Syria. It is now estimated that 37,000 were killed in the earthquakes last week. That horrific figure may still rise further. In the aftermath, 21 EU member states sent rescue teams coordinated by the EU’s Civil Protection Mechanism. Ireland was not one of them. Fianna Fáil MEP, Barry Andrews, is demanding answers.
