This is a really special one today! I got to sit down with the author of Mighty Mila, Katie Petruzziello!

 

Katie and I chatted about how she chose books as a medium to spread positive awareness of deafness, helping your child learn to advocate for themselves in simple ways and how to step into leadership roles in our communities.

 

Katie brings such good thoughts and insight into this episode of raising two kids with hearing loss, and I hope this episode is an encouragement to any parents going through hearing loss with your kids!
