Mountaineer Cathy O'Dowd (Cathy on Instagram) is the first South African to climb Everest and the first woman in the world to climb Everest from both sides. She has turned that success into an 20+ year career as an internationally known motivational speaker. She shares her experiences on Himalayan teams with corporate leaders interested in leadership, team dynamics, and goal achievement. 

 

We talk about her journey to the summit of Everest, all that went into making the climb (going through a storm, a motivational phone call & how team dynamics helped her get to the top) and how she's made a business out of the experience.
