Proposed facial recognition technology bans aim to address the potential for hard-coding discrimination into technology. And states are considering, and in some notable cases, enacting and enforcing relatively comprehensive privacy legislation. How do we create a law that allows for advances in industry and technology while addressing consumer and other concerns? (October 19, 2020)
