AM Report 21 May 18: US stocks under trade pressure on Friday

US sharemarkets ended mixed on Friday. Shares in banks and chipmakers weighed on the broader S&P 500 index. But small cap stocks were in demand with the Russell 2000 index at fresh record highs.
