Generational Trauma and navigating the world we’ve inherited

Trauma goes deeper than most people think.  Because even if you came from a good home and a good family, you were born into a traumatic world.  We've inherited a world of trauma, a world with a history steeped in war, conflict, and survival of the fittest and when we experienced this world as helpless, innocent children, it was deeply hurtful to us and we built big walls of protection around ourselves.

Modern dating culture is a side effect of this generational trauma and what we experience in dating is the result of millions of traumatized people, most of them not even aware of their need for healing, desperately trying to feel better and feel more love while simultaneously being terrified of intimacy.  This is an impossible situation and it's lead to a divorce rate above 70% and millions struggling with self-worth and loneliness.
