Art on the Air Presents Sharonna Ray

This week we're pleased to present our conversation with multi-disciplinary artist and Friends of African American Arts (FAAA) board member Sharonna Ray!

 

Inspired the death of her brother, Ray artfully recreates the desserts she shared with loved ones to speak on issues of intimacy and memory. Additionally, through FAAA, she works within the community to increase representation, and helps to inspire local youth as a elementary school art teacher.
