Write It On Their Hearts

I had an unfortunate situation with another parent who refused to accept their child's responsibility for an incident. Why do some people dismiss the idea that their children can often times be the cause or contributor to childhood disagreements?

It's truly a disservice to our children to ignore these behaviors. 

I had a HUGE teaching moment and was able to identify some red flags and walk away from a family that exhibited toxic behavior. 

In this episode, I'll review how I handled a sticky situation using the guidelines from a wonderful book called "Write It On Their Hearts" by Chris and Melissa Swain.

It's okay to deny our children things. It's necessary to discipline them accordingly. Most importantly, it's crucial to disciple them in the ways of Jesus to create trusting relationships that build good humans.
