Felise thought life was linear: if you went to college, had a good job and worked really hard (basically did all the "right" things), everything would fall into place. But it didn't. Now she believes change is the only constant in life and one can miss opportunities if you stick to the "plan". If Felise has one major regret: The time wasted worrying about what other people think.
