US Close 15 Dec 16:US Markets lower, Fed lifted rates and expect more increases in 2017

US sharemarkets fell after the Federal Reserve lifted the interest rate outlook for 2017. Ahead of the interest rate decision markets had been in a holding pattern. At the close of trade, the Dow Jones index was lower by 119 points
