The Beatitudes Teach us to Look at our World from the Point of View of the Resurrection. (Lk 6:17, 20-26) (6 OT)

If you look at only this world, the Beatitudes make no sense. The critics of religion point this out to us, and will say religion is the opiate of the masses (Karl Marx). But for those who believe in the Resurrection, they not only make sense, but reveal how blessed we truly are. Homily for the 6th Sunday of Ordinary Time.
