Do you know that trust and obey goes hand in hand together? Example, if you don't trust your parents or boss, it is very difficult to obey them wholeheartedly. There is no point in obeying the one in authority if the relationship is bad or non-existent.

How about our obedience to God? Are we obedient because we are Christians and we ought to obey? Do we obey because it is written in the Bible? Or do we obey because God is our Father and He loves us so much that He knows what is best for us and His Word is there to protect us. Obedience becomes much easier when we know His love for us. We trust Him no matter what the circumstances are or whether logically it sounds right or not.

But it isn't all about our obedience. Thank God. Because we as humans in the flesh can not be obedient all the time. We have failed, we are still failing and will fail. But thanks be to God that it is about Jesus obedience. Because of His obedience, we are made righteous, blessed and protected.
