When we heard about the work J.J. Kapur is doing to educate others about his minority faith of Sikhism we had to invite him to the studio for a conversation. However, not only is J.J. an incoming senior at Valley High School in West Des Moines he is an accomplished public speaker winning national competitions at Harvard and Emory University. Here we talk about his faith, the Sikh Temples in the Metro (West Des Moines and Johnston), his turban, and what is important for the future.
