Morning Report 13 Apr 22: ASX likely for a flat start as Wall St trade lower

Local shares are set for a flat start as US sharemarkets retreated on Tuesday.  Surge in oil prices  and reignited inflation worries dragged the market lower.  At the close of trade, the Dow Jones index fell by 88 points or 0.3%. The S&P 500 index dipped 0.3% and the Nasdaq index shed 40 points or 0.3%.
