Chris Solis is a Comic Creator starting later in life after years of making music with False to be False and Pretty Soldiers, the latter being a punk rock Sailor Moon-themed band. He recently launched his first self-published book with art from Lane Lloyd, letters by Dave Lentz, and editing by Aubrey Lyn Jeppson. A Flag to Fly is a fantasy YA tale that is all about taking responsibility for the world you want to live in. Set on a small feudal island, it's a comedy with a lot of fun riding the line between Sword in the Stone and Game of Thrones. Variant Covers by Rachel Distler and Terri Susca. We talk about his career change from Punk Rock to Comics, the amazing team (many have been interviewed in the past on this show). What he learned from Scott MacLeod and more recently Scott Snyder presents Tales from the Cloakroom where his story was put into the anthology.
