Acts 4:1-4

“There’s a ‘But’ at the end of your ‘and’”

What are the ‘ands’ in your life today?

My family relationships are broken and I lost my job and where am I going to live and my health is failing...

And...and...and...Is there a room for a ‘but’ at the end of your list?

Take a moment to write your ‘ands’ down

...
Now, go back over each one of them and turn it into a prayer of submission and petition to God in the name of Jesus.

Heavenly Father,

 I am stressed, and challenged, and weak, and worried.

The circumstances I am facing are so hard, but today, right now, in this moment I open my hands

as they clasp each ‘and’ in my life and I relinquish my grip. In faith I give each one to you in Jesus’ name.

May your name be made great in every ‘and’ of my life today and may

my life always point to the ‘but God’ moment.

In Jesus’ name, Amen
