Luke 12 (Part 1) - The Leaven Of Hypocrisy

According to the Greek, leaven is defined as "that which infects others; a mental or moral corruption". It can be compared to yeast, which when combined with a host, will expand and grow, producing an often times unpleasant aroma. This comparision is one Jesus uses regarding worldly living! As He says, "Where your treasure IS, there your heart WILL BE also". In this to the point study, which is both firm and blunt, you will find that worldly living is truly hypocrisy, when compared to the cross of our Lord Jesus! You will see that covetousness (greed for more; lack of contentment) is idolatry and is "not even to be named among the Saints, as is proper"! And you will see that your heart is revealed by where you store your treasure! While we can often hide our heart from one another, none of us can hide from God...
