Sometimes well-intentioned Christians fall into the temptation to advance the gospel through non-biblical means. This attempt to “sweeten” the gospel may seem to be a smart decision, but it actually often results in a huge mess. Simon’s desire for gospel power was not a righteous one, and Peter rightly understood that this is one of the ways that Satan Attacks Our Mission.
