Welcome to the Your Birth, God's Way Podcast, a show to help you find the beauty of God's design for your pregnancy, birth, and beyond.  Listen, ladies, I totally get it.  There just aren't enough hours in the day to get done all that's on your to-do list.  The thought of putting in the time it takes to have a healthy, natural birth in this medical world we live in seems a bit much.  But I also know you are TIRED of feeling out of control in your pregnancy care.  You KNOW deep down that there must be a better way, but you just haven't had the time to find it.  This show is going to be an answer to the prayer you've had in your heart to find the better way.  I'm Lori.  I'm a certified nurse-midwife with over 20 years of experience in this broken medical system.  After all those years of being neck-deep in computer charting, not-so-informed consent, and putting mamas into the unstoppable, downhill snowball that is known as maternity care in this country, I escaped and discovered the secret to having peace and joy during this time (and all times, for that matter) is to trust our Designer!  God's way truly is the best way and I am here to help you find it for yourself.  I had all three of my babies naturally, in the water, outside of the hospital.  I went on to nurse them all well over a year -- one nursed for 4 years -- not even kidding!  I love to help Christian mamas break away from the conventional to discover God's beautiful plan for this fleeting time of life.  He made you for this and I'm here to help you see that He's already given you all you need!  I want YOU to have these blessings in your life, too, like I have. Inside this podcast, you will find encouragement, education, and information to empower you to have God's beauty for you during a time that has been feeling like a string of impersonal medical tests.  Mama, I give you permission to RELAX and ENJOY this beautiful time of life.  You are MORE than a prenatal test result!  Your baby is more than a grapefruit on a pregnancy tracking app.  You are God's creation and so are your precious babies.  If you're ready to reclaim your peace and joy in this beautiful time of life, this is the podcast for you.
