Ep. 41, Genesis 17-20: The Abrahamic Covenant Defined, A Promise to Sarah, A lot about Lot, She’s My Sister (reprise). Women’s Bible Study

The title pretty much says it all, folks. We take another look at the Abrahamic Covenant this week in chapter 17, where it really gets "fleshed out." (see what I did there?) Sarah has her own interaction with the LORD, where he makes her a promise that she just can't believe...she's tickled blue. We talk a lot about Lot in chapter 19. He's now a leader in Sodom, but he has trouble leading his family. We see the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, and we remember Lot's wife. We learn how the enemies of Israel, the Moabites and the Ammonites came about.  It has to do with Lot. And Abraham plays the sister card again. Does this mean that Sarah is the original sister-wife?
