Ned Tillman, a long time Howard county resident who owned and operated his own environmental sustainability business for many years. In retirement, Ned has been writing about our open spaces, trails, and other environmental aspects of our community. Having published two books on the subject he also leads guided walks along some of our most precious Rivers and other environmentally significant areas. We will also discuss the major land grants that Jim Rouse made to our county and the positive impact they have had on our environment. Ned was one of the first members appointed to the Howard County Environment and Sustainabilty Board, and is currently in demand because of his unique and in depth perception about the cause of flooding in Ellicot City.
