Is God A Priority Or A Presumption? - Reflection By Fr. Patrick Cahill

Scripture tells us that we will be judged at the end of our lives on what we gave our priorities to?  Is our priority to our career, sport, hobbies etc or is it to our vocation as husband or wife, mother or father, priest or religious, or whatever state of life that you may be in at this present time?  If God is not in the number one spot in our hearts and our lives, even above our families, then we have our priorities wrong.  If we want to know how much priority we give God, let us ask how much time we spend in prayer each day.  So let us begin correctly today and follow the narrow path to Heaven.
