Interview with Sean Patton

I believe leadership is the most powerful force on earth and it is my life’s work and passion.

I am a former US Army Special Forces (Green Beret) Commander. I have led front-line elite Infantry & Special Forces Soldiers in both Iraq and Afghanistan. 5 years ago, I left the military after 14 years of service to pursue my entrepreneurial dream. I graduated from UNC Chapel-Hill with my MBA and started my first business, a Fitness/Martial Arts Hybrid Franchise. Long story short after a few years it failed, and I had to declare bankruptcy. I started a second business, Legion Jiu-Jitsu. We have grown to 3 locations in 2 years and all locations are profitable. Perseverance is the key to success in the military, business, and life.

Now I work with entrepreneurs and executives on effective Servant Leadership by applying hard-learned battle-tested principles through individual coaching and my Elite Leadership workshop. Strong leadership creates strong profits.

I teach people on the following topics:

Servant Leadership principles for success. A leader is a person you train to become, not a set of techniques just anyone can apply and get results. Your listeners would get stories and actionable steps they can apply TODAY to improve as leaders.

Effective communication. Nearly all problems inside organizations involve ineffective communication, yet organizations spend almost no time training their people on how to communicate better. I have created a 5B Communication Method framework utilizing my experience and military doctrine. Your listeners will be able to use this framework to clearly communicate within their organization and improve productivity immediately.

Mindset Mastery. Mindset is everything. But how do you train mindset for yourself? For your team? I have been through some of the toughest leadership and mental toughness training in the world. West Point. US Army Ranger School. Special Forces Selection. Special Forces Combat Diver School. Not to mention 22 months in combat and 5 years of entrepreneurship. I apply these lessons daily in my business and with my clients. Listeners will enjoy hearing these stories and action steps to move from a negative and stressed mind to one filled with gratitude, able to focus through the noise and push through to victory during the most difficult of times.
