Market Close 22 Dec 16: Market rallies for a fourth session to a fresh 16-month high

The Australian share market has enjoyed a fourth day of gains, sending the ASX 200 up 30 points or 0.5% to a fresh 16-month high of 5,643. Telcos & consumer staples did the heavy lifting, while Healthcare stocks underperformed.
