Taoiseach delivered “clear message of support” of Ukraine EU membership – Cuffe

MEPs in the European Parliament in Strasbourg have been reacting to the Taoiseach’s address there this morning,.

Micheál Martin touched on a range of issues during his speech including Ireland’s 50-year membership of the EU, the war on Ukraine and the problems with the Northern Ireland Protocol.

Mr Martin said he strongly supports Ukraine’s application to join the EU. Ciarán Cuffe gave his reaction to the Taoiseach’s speech.
