What is Porn… I don’t know that I can define it, but I know it when I see it.

Thats not actually correct… so what is porn?

 

Any physical or mental act that will illicit  sexual pleasure outside of the bonds of marriage through any other means than that of your spouse.

Took over the circus and it became Barnum and Bailey Circus

The circus was still novel, spooky and not necessarily an accepted form of entertainment.  He would hire an orchestra to play on Sunday at noon for free.  Now understand that this was a big deal and for free meant people would come from all over the town and vicinity to hear them. They would be the worst orchestra you could find – simply terrible.

He had the orchestra play right next to the area where he had his circus set up and a few songs into the set he would drop a banner that said circus starts in 5 minutes. This obviously would drive people to the circus. He then would promise greater and more strange acts the next day and the next day until everyone was talking about it and would go!  

 

The novelty would wear off and he would have to find greater and stranger acts.  It was the only draw to keep people coming back.

 

This is much like the effects of porn on the brain.  The culture has surrounded you with the idea that it is acceptable through soft porn like Sports Illustrated and Victoria secret commercials.  But you must continue to up the anti.

You see the image and you are excited through erototoxins they include

*serotonin – oil for your brain

*Oxytocin – bonding chemical

*MHC – Attraction

*Delta Foss B – Genetic programmer 

*Phenothylamine – ecstatic high

* epinephrine

* vasopressin

* testosterone and estrogen, and FSH and LH

 

 

 

The porn company studies your fetish’s so they can capture you and get this chemical response.

Types of porn – guy on girl, girl on girl, guy on guy, guy on horse, women in nickers, teen asian girls, spanking, Russian women shaving other Russian women etc…

 

 

 

 

All of these create a chemical high that does a few things.

Gives you a high – It works!

Try’s to bond – this creates anger triggers in the brain (over eat, spend, drink, excessive exercise)

Builds addiction to the chemicals

Over time creates sensitization

The stress creates scar tissue in the arteries

Damages the cells in the hippocampus –reason & remembering

We see women as objects – this is how the brain now is wired
