Greg Kihn was a musical force for decades in the San Francisco Bay Area, and worldwide. With multiple albums, hit singles, a long running Morning Radio show and later as a novelist, Greg shared his creative talents with the world. During the 80s when I was on the air in SF Radio and with my TV series San Francisco Hot Rock, I interviewed Greg several times, and saw him live with the Greg Kihn Band many times at places like the Stone in SF and the Keystone in Palo Alto. He was always a kind, fun, thoughtful "regular guy" until he hit the stage, and then he was a rock star. With his passing recently, we asked Greg Kihn Band drummer Larry Lynch and Music Journalist Joel Selvin to join us to celebrate the life and music of Greg Kihn, including a rare interview I did with him in 1984 where he talks about his songwriting, the songs Jeopardy and Reunited. We dedicate this show to Greg's Family, the band, and to his fans worldwide.
