Somewhere in your record collection, you may have a ton of stuff from Memphis. The classic Memphis Soul Stew stuff. Hi Records, Stax, Al Green and Willie Mitchell. Playing drums on literally countless of those records was Howard Grimes. We were presented the chance to sit down with Mr. Grimes to talk about those early days of Memphis music with one of the guys who were responsible for that very sound. Recorded live on the air at Radio Memphis, Ric, Jeff Janovetz and Mark Caldwell have this wonderful conversation with Mr. Grimes.
